SALES AGREEMENT
(Also Known As License, Lease Agreement or Lease)
When you purchase or download for free a non-exclusive beat from KLH Beats.com you are leasing the beat. Kenneth L. Harge retains the copyright and all associated rights. This lease grants you permission to use the beat for non-commercial recordings such as: demo songs, rap battles, talents shows, non-commercial films, etc. Additionally this lease grants the purchaser the right to sell a song with our beat commercially on up to 500 copies for a standard lease, and up to 2,000 copies for an exclusive lease. Vocals must be recorded over any non-excusive or exclusive beat that you lease. Non-exclusive or exclusive beats may not under any circumstances be sold as an instrumental either on their own or as part of any compilation. All KLH Beats are royalty-free, with the exception of exclusive beats used on recordings that sell more than 2,000 copies. An additional agreement must be signed before selling more than 2,000 recordings using a KLH Beats.com beat. All free beats downloaded are considered a standard lease.
When you purchase an "Excusive Leased" beat from KLH Beats.com you are leasing the beat. Kenneth L. Harge retains the copyright and all associated rights. However you have additional rights: a) the beat will be removed from the KLH Beats.com web site. Removing the beat from our website may take up to 24 hours, during which time it is possible someone else may download the beat. b) you may use the recording in any way including commercial recordings up to 2,000 copies. The term "Exclusive" does not imply that no one has downloaded the beat previous to an "Exclusive Lease", but simply that no one will be allowed to download the beat after an "Exclusive Lease".
Your lease requires that on all recordings with our beat on it you show credit for music production as follows: Music Production - KLH for KLH Beats.com. Agreements for sales over 2,000 and for exclusive copyrights are negotiable please email us by clicking on the 'Contact Us' button at the top of this page and state which beat you are interested in having additional rights for.
By purchasing or downloading for free a beat from KLH Beats.com you agree to abide and be bound by this Agreement.
